A PAGE FROM MY DUSTBIN

A breeze flows along us as we stroll along the path, it's still daytime and it's hot but I can't feel it, instead a cool current is flowing through my veins. The cacophonies of the vicinity seem like a melodious harmony. The road takes a turn and turns in a passage lined with exquisite dense fauna on both sides.
We are talking nonsense (I call it nonsense, 'cause it has nothing to do with …, well)
Our lackluster gossip suddenly comes to a break, it was a cul-de-sac, the road ended, an iron gate marked its end. We turned back and our conversation changed its route, we were on the topic, metaphorically speaking the road diverged…
The sun fell down, darkness was slowly prevailing over, it was the grimmest dusk of my life, and an obscure and obfuscating remark from the other side made me stop and look into a pair of flinty and cold eyes that were staring me with monotonous silence .the wind swayed away the silence between us. The ice was broken to reveal a rock beneath it. The mid way had just become the dead end for me.
It was rather ironical, the obvious turned into impossible, I wanted to clear the picture but when I cleared it out it was something else than I expected. I was running for a mirage, and chasing a shadow. I was in a delusion whose genesis lied inside my own mind.
I am baffled and I am stunned…
It would have been better if things went as I wanted them to go,
It would have been better if it would all had never begun if it had to end this way,
It would have been better if I had foresighted my destiny,
It would have been better…If the road never ended
